So tomorrow I start my 3rd quarter at AILV. It's been really educational and I have been trying to absorb as much information and knowledge concerning photography as I can. I am loving it and tomorrow I get to start taking classes in advanced lighting. Basically meaning I finally get to play in the studio and start learning how to set up studio lights and such. I'm so excited, I can't wait. It will be nice not having to rely on natural light and fill flash only. Don't get me wrong, I like shooting with them but I want to challenge myself and be more artistic with light. Well that's it for now, wish me luck this quarter and I hope to start add

So today is the start of week 4 into my 2nd quarter at photography school. So far I pretty much love it, I could do without having to do G.E. classes (like math) though. To date, I have learned how to use Open Shade lighting for portraits, worked with my first model, and learned concepts of mounting my work for presenttation. Everything else that I have learned, has been material I was already familiar with. I have also had the opportunity to learn how to use Adobe CS4 and Bridge, which has led me to learn the basics of re-touching my images. I can't wait to keep learning and to advance my skills. Well thats the skinny on my school experience

SO I just finished week 8 in school and everything is going good so far. I am learning some new things but I am most interested in my next quarter classes. I managed to get into Digital Imaging (I can finally learn photoshop) and Lighting 1. I can't wait! This is going to be a great quarter, now if it were only April 5th already so I can start the quarter.
